Jessica Alba and Honor Marie on Ok! Magazine

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Jessica Alba debuted her new baby girl, Honor Marie on the cover of this week’s Ok! Magazine. I have to say this baby is very beautiful (yeah, yeah all babies are beautiful). I’m sorry but this beats the hell out of Jamie Lynn’s cover-baby.

On the Delivery:
“I didn’t scream, it was really Zen.” And Cash could only marvel at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth. “She didn’t make a sound,” he says. “It was amazing.”

On the Adorable Honor:
“It hasn’t totally sunk in, she dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn’t seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she’s connected to the other world, or something. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s a miracle.”

On Who She Looks Like :
“She looks like a girl version of me,” Cash says. “She has my nose, my eyebrows and my…” “Forehead and dimples,” Jessica finishes, adding, “She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears.”

“Maybe Honor is a mixture,” Cash reconsiders. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!”

Update: More pictures of Jessica, Cash, and baby Honor in Ok! Magazine

Jessica Alba Talks About Baby Weight With Cosmopolitan Magazine

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Jessica Alba had a hard time dealing with the weight she gained in her recent pregnanct with daughter Honor. She told UK’s Cosmopolitan magazine, “I never felt less sexy. I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world … but I wanted to get rid of all the weight”.

Just a little over a month since the birth Jessica seems to have lost much of the weight she gained, mostly through breat feeding and working out. Jessica’s working out extra hard so she can be back in her perfect pre-baby shape in time for her Fall wedding to husband Cash Warren. The two married in a private ceremony on May 19th but are planning a more lavish reception for later this year.

Jessica Alba Talks About Parenting

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Jessica Alba talked about her beliefs and ideas towards parenting with Britain’s Sunday Express. She talked about how a parent’s nervous behavior can affect a child: “If you’re very paranoid and uptight and won’t let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety. If you’re a little more laid-back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you’ll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I’ll find out.”

Jessica also said she has major concerns when it comes to vaccinations: “I’ve been reading a lot about kids and infections, autism and vaccinations,” added Jessica, who suffered from health problems as a child. “I’ve come to think that perhaps I was a product of my environment or the vaccines or something my mother took when she was pregnant.”

The new mother recently had a baby girl named Honor with husband Cash Warren.
